Meet the Team
C.J. Stafford & Associates
employs four full time consultants who are dedicated to
the mining industry.
Chris

Chris Stafford spent over 15 years in engineering in England
and Canada. In addition to recruiting he has been involved
in career counseling, performance appraisals and skills
analysis.
From his own experience in mining, Chris
knows the difficulty employers face in finding and attracting quality
people. In large part, it is this appreciation that accounts for the
company’s initial and continuing success.
Chris is a member of the
Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, the Canadian
Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Canada/ South
Africa Chamber of Commerce. Chris chaired the education
committee of the CIM Toronto branch from 1996 to 2000.

with Amoco Production Company in various technical and managerial
roles internationally. After graduating as a Geological
Engineer from the University of Toronto, Rick worked in
Canada, USA, New Zealand, Australia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Kazakhstan
and Turkey. Rick’s diverse experience has seen him
in such roles as Project General Manager, Chief Geologist,
Country Manager and Vice President.

where he currently chairs the education committee, and is
a Registered Professional Geologist (Alberta).
Tara

from the University of Western Ontario, Tara completed a
postgraduate diploma in Human Resources Management with
a specialization in recruitment.
Tara joined C.J. Stafford

whose success is attributed to her understanding of the
needs and wants of both clients and candidates.
Alicia

As a Professional Geologist with 18+ years of experience
in the mining sector, academic environments, and the securities
industry, she is well prepared for her new role. Alicia

of ore deposits, and program management. In addition to
